Repair of propeller shaft
We at Madras Marine are fully equipped to repair both Controllable pitch propeller and Fixed pitch propeller The work can be performed in Madras Marine workshop or on site.Apart from propeller we also repair propeller and rudder shafts up to 8 meters in length.
The Standard Scope of Work are as Follows:
- Blade Cleaning
- 3D scanning or manual inspection of the damaged propeller
- Listing down the deviation and corrective action as per the class requirement.
- Blade Straightening
- Blade edges leading and trailing rebuilding.
- Propeller Grinding.
- Static or Dynamic Balancing.
- Final Inspection
- Final Polishing
